This customer decided to have his existing Land Rover Defender completely re-furbished to his own unique specification.
He put a lot of thought into what he wanted and chose elements of a traditional Series Land Rover infused with a contemporary twist.
He chose the original grey used on early series vehicles, galvanised cappings and bumper, and heritage style headlamp bezels.
He wanted a black powdered coated roof rack, with matching satin black wingtops and black bumper ends caps all creating the contemporary, modern look.
The result is an exterior with very clean modern lines.
After the customer had finished his design with us the vehicle was then taken into the workshop to begin its transformation.
The initial stage was to strip away the body panels and interior revealing the chassis and then handing this to our workshop technicians to inspect. We then liaised with the customer with any other work necessary. It was decided to replace the chassis with a brand new OE galvanised chassis.
The next stage was to totally strip the vehicle and each part was individually painted inside and out, the front grille, headlamp bezels and wheels were colour coded to the vehicle.
The body was then fitted onto the rolling chassis and the original interior was fully refurbished and refitted.
The customer chose to have the headlining reupholstered in the latest modern black. Afterwards for added comfort a stunning pair of camel vinyl heated seats and matching cubby box were fitted. This upgraded the interior to make for a much more comfortable ride and again enhanced the contemporary part of the build.
